Welcome! I’m Dr. Marlene Shaw—a cosmetic and implant dentist with over 20 years of experience, proudly serving the vibrant communities of the Washington DC Metro Area through my dental practice. My mission is simple: to restore confidence and well-being by transforming smiles, one patient at a time.
Originally from Haiti, I come from a long lineage of dental professionals—my father and grandfather both practiced dentistry, planting the seeds of purpose that have shaped my career. I moved to the United States to pursue higher education, earning my bachelor’s degree in computer science from Queens College in New York City before completing my Doctorate of Dental Surgery at the prestigious Howard University College of Dentistry.
As a dentist, I specialize in cosmetic and implant dentistry, helping individuals and families rebuild and renew their smiles with precision and care. Whether I’m placing implants or crafting a full-mouth restoration, my approach is always grounded in trust, empathy, and a commitment to excellence. Every patient is unique, and I work hard to ensure they feel heard, valued, and empowered throughout their dental journey.
Multilingual and multicultural, I speak English, French, and Haitian Creole fluently. I speak Spanish very well. I know enough Russian to make you smile.
My love for language and culture enriches the connections I build every day, both personally and professionally.
